My Number One Rule? No. B.S. NONE.

As we are battling COVID-19, I can't help but believe we are all asking some of the same questions: How will this affect my business? Will all my “postponed” projects pick back up in May or later? What can I do right now to help my business in the future? What the hell does the future even look like??
Over the last few weeks, I reached out to other freelancers/small business owners to see how they are holding up. Our conversations lead to all the current topics like applying for loans, “postponed” or cancelled gigs, and obviously…Tiger King.
Although at the time these conversations felt like emotional rollercoasters, I left each one feeling comforted in the fact that I wasn’t alone. I knew I had my community of artists to “talk it out,” and that’s when it hit me: It’s time we connect with each other, share our thoughts, share our conversations, and you guessed it, repeat.
I will be hosting HONEST conversations with freelancers, small business owners, and leaders in the industry about the effects it has had on their businesses. You can find out what it is really like to run a business in a pandemic and hopefully, you will walk away with some helpful insights.
Should probably have more rules then that considering I hope to post on LinkedIn… but one thing at a time.
